MDF is pleased to announce the launch of a new program, MDF DM Days. These special one-day free events will be held in three locations across the U.S. in 2017, bringing together clinicians, researchers and MDF community members to share information and resources. Take advantage of the opportunity to connect with MDF community members and leading DM clinicians and researchers, and participate in networking opportunities between individuals, families and caretakers affected by DM. The first MDF DM Day takes place on Saturday, June 10, 2017, in partnership with the University of Iowa, and will feature patient-centered programming, breakout sessions, and an interactive Ask-The-Experts session. Register for the event.
"A critical part of what MDF does is ensure that people living with myotonic dystrophy have access to resources, support and community connection," said Paul Formaker, MDF Program Director. "We created this new program in order to reach as many families as possible where they are, to connect them to their local clinical and research experts, and ensure that they have access to the significant resources and support that MDF provides. "
Registration for MDF DM Day is free and provides entrance to the conference, access to resources, general and breakout sessions, and a light breakfast and lunch.
