Craig and Lauren Evans will participate in the Philadelphia Tough Mudder in Coatesville, Pennsylvania this May, to raise funds for Myotonic and myotonic dystrophy research. This is the fifth Tough Mudder for Craig and fourth for Lauren Evans. The family is running in honor of Craig and Lauren's daughter Addison, who is living with congenital myotonic dystrophy.

Craig and Lauren want Addison, and other kids like Addison, to have every opportunity in life. That's why they decided they needed to do something to further DM research. Back in October 2014, with their team of family and friends, Team Addison got together to complete the Tri-State Tough Mudder for the Myotonic Dash & Dine campaign. Now the team has grown to 10 and is headed back out onto the Philly course to do it again, even if it does just raise awareness or ease someone else's struggles by providing an opportunity to learn from what the Evans family went through.
