Il a obtenu un MSc en bio-informatique \u00e0 l&rsquo;Universit\u00e9 de Glasgow sous la direction du <a href=\"https:\/\/myotonic.org\/team\/darren-monckton-phd\/\">Dr Monckton<\/a>, o\u00f9 il a d\u00e9velopp\u00e9 l&rsquo;outil de g\u00e9notypage des r\u00e9p\u00e9titions (RGT), et a compl\u00e9t\u00e9 un doctorat au Centre de r\u00e9gulation g\u00e9nomique ax\u00e9 sur l&rsquo;inf\u00e9rence de la s\u00e9lection naturelle dans la lign\u00e9e humaine. <\/p>\n<p>Le Dr Ali est d\u00e9sormais chercheur postdoctoral dans le groupe du Dr Kelleher, contribuant \u00e0 msprime et tskit. Dot\u00e9 de solides comp\u00e9tences en g\u00e9n\u00e9tique computationnelle et en inf\u00e9rence au niveau des populations, il vise \u00e0 appliquer des approches fond\u00e9es sur les donn\u00e9es pour faire progresser la recherche sur la dystrophie myotonique.
