What a Weekend!

The 2014 MDF Annual Conference was a signature event with a number of programmatic firsts! This year's over-sold event included everything from advocacy visits and an awards reception on Capitol Hill, a keynote from the US Surgeon General, a first-ever science workshop with over 50 representatives from academic research, industry, and federal research and regulatory agencies and a new community led track of breakout sessions to the announcement of FDA approval for Phase II trials for the Isis Pharmaceutical potential treatment for DM1, DMPKrx, first-ever sessions on Vision and Eye Health and DM and Emotional Health, and a Twilight Monuments Bus Tour of the nation's capital.
