Michael Cornea, DPT
Michael is a Doctor of Physical Therapy with five years of clinical experience, primarily practicing in Fairbanks, Alaska, with additional recent work in Washington, DC. He grew up in Portland, Oregon, and spent eight years in Seattle before moving to Portland, Maine, where he earned his DPT from the University of New England. As both a PT and someone connected to the myotonic dystrophy community, Michael cares deeply about helping people stay active, confident, and independent in ways that feel realistic and sustainable. He’s especially interested in balance and finding simple, adaptable ways to move—whether that’s from a chair or on your feet.
