Join our incredible community of people living with DM1, DM2, youth and children, families and caregivers in the greater Kansas City area. Meetings regularly host guest speakers, including professionals specializing in areas that affect those living with Myotonic Dystrophy and their families. Upcoming Meetings:
- April 13th
- This meeting will feature a guest speaker, Jeffrey Statland, M.D., a Professor in the Neurology Department at the University of Kanas Medical Center. Dr. Statland, treats DM patients through his clinic at the University of Kansas and conducts research on DM and other neuromuscular diseases. Dr. Statland will provide updates on DM and share information on current drug trials and studies. This is an exciting time for the DM world, with a number of potential therapies on the horizon.
