Renee joined MDF in April 2024 as our Fundraising and Operations Coordinator. MDF's dedication to centering the DM community inspired her to join the team. Renee's professional background includes nonprofit operations, fundraising, and grants management. She is currently a resident of Berkeley, California, and graduated from the California Institute of Integral Studies in San Francisco with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Interdisciplinary Studies, marrying her inquiry into liberatory applications of the social sciences studies and fine art. Before joining MDF, Renee lived in Okinawa, Japan; working on diverse international teams. She is guided by her passion for trauma-informed community care and is thrilled to support the MDF team's mission towards community, care, and a cure!
