About the Speaker:
John D. Cleary, PhD, Assistant Director of Research, The RNA Institute –
Dr. John D. Cleary is an expert in molecular genetics and grant development, with years of experience securing funding and mentoring early-career researchers. Dr. Cleary received one of the first MDF Research Fellowships in 2011, which centered on « An Investigation of the Genetic Mechanisms in Myotonic Dystrophy ». Since completing his fellowship, Dr. Cleary has gone on to mentor several doctoral and postdoctoral fellows in DM research.
