Peggy Melton is a retired wife and mother. She spent many years working in the local school system. Now, she volunteers for another non-profit supporting other people who have been diagnosed with thyroid cancer. Peggy is the caregiver for her husband and children who were all diagnosed with DM1 in 2019. She is excited to be bringing back the Texas Support Group with Cofacilitator Lynn. In her free time, you can find Peggy enjoying time with family, researching various topics, playing with her cats or playing words with friends online!
